Jacto was started by Shunji Nishimura, who immigrated to Brazil from Japan in the early 1930’s. He started a fix-it shop where he repaired just about anything his customers brought him. After repairing an agricultural “duster” Nishimura re-designed it as a more comfortable backpack duster. At the request of his neighbors, Nishimura went on to design his own duster. By the late 1940’s the Jacto company was born. Since then it’s dependability, innovation and skill haven’t stopped. Jacto now manufactures a highly engineered range of sprayers and fertilizers for farmers around the world.
Cummings and Bricker distributes JACTO products in Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
