- Single Auger TMR Mixers
- Twin Auger HD TMR Mixers
- Stationary TMR Mixers
- Truck Mounted Mixers
Jaylor Mini TMR mixers have proven themselves ideal for a wide range of applications, including feeding smaller dairies when starting out, and specialty groups such as weaned calves, dry cows, maternity pens, and fresh cows on larger dairy farms. Our Mini TMR mixers are great for supplemental feeding of beef cows during calving. Each A50 and A100 model is now available in four unique versions: a 3-wheel, all-wheel Self-Propelled; a gas engine-powered Pull-Type; a gas engine-powered Truck-Mount; and an electric motor or gas engine-powered Stationary. In order to meet your particular needs, these mixers are designed and engineered with the same capabilities and durability as the larger 5000 Series mixers, including the ability to incorporate long forage into true total mixed rations. A50 and A100 models operate hydrostatically, with the augers driven by a powerful hydraulic motor. The 5275 model has been specifically designed to process bales up to 4’x5’ into a uniform TMR that resists sorting. Even the smallest skid steers won’t have any trouble loading this 300 cubic foot (8.5m3) model and just 45 Horsepower will run it. Each model also comes with a complete scale system for accurate weighing.
Jaylor Single Auger TMR mixers are available in a variety of configurations ranging in capacity from 350 to 575 cubic feet (ft3). They are ideal for feeding small to mid-sized dairy and cow-calf operations, medium-sized beef feedlots (especially backgrounding and grower operations), as well as large sheep and goat facilities. Each one is an industry leader in its class at quickly processing round or square baled hay and/or baleage into uniform rations that will resist sorting. The 5400 is a “low-profile” machine and ideal for using with smaller skidsteer loaders, or wherever height is limited. All these mixers come standard with the patented Jaylor augers and the full range of innovations (page 5), warranties (page 21), and with a full range of options (pages 19-20) to create your tailored feeding solution.
Jaylor 5000 Series Twin Auger TMR mixers are available in a wide range of configurations in capacities from 615 to 960 cubic feet (ft3). These machines are used to feed larger dairy and cow-calf operations and feedlots ranging in size from as little as a hundred head, up to thousands of head. Each one is an industry leader in its class at processing round or square baled hay and baleage into uniform rations, which are resistant to sorting during eating, in a minimum amount of time. They are also ideal for mixing pre-processed silage and grain rations, including high grain finishing rations, with which full mix uniformity is achieved in as little as three to five minutes. The “Low Profile” 5600 is capable of being used with skid-steer loaders. All these mixers come standard with patented Jaylor augers and the full range of innovations (page 5), warranties (page 21), and with a full range of options (pages 19-20) to create your tailored feeding solution.
Jaylor supplies stationary mixers in all 5000 Series sizes, and configurations for livestock production, as well as to facilities engaged in composting, municipal waste management, recycling, and bio-digester energy production. Designed and engineered to meet the customer’s needs, they can be powered electrically, by stand-alone engine, by PTO, mechanical drive or robust hydrostatic drive, recommended for applications approaching continuous operation. Of particular note is the 5350 Stationary Mixer. Powered by two ten-horsepower single phase electric motors it is ideal for traditional tie-stalls or smaller farms. Jaylor’s Stationary Mixers have the same industry-leading capability for efficiently processing baled forage into uniform rations that resist sorting. All these mixers come standard with patented Jaylor augers and the full range of innovations (page 5), warranties (page 21), and with a full range of options (pages 19-20). Truck mounted TMR mixers are especially useful when feeding larger numbers of animals grouped by age or stage of production, or at multiple locations. Jaylor produces the full range of the 5000 Series mixers in its Truck Mount line, either as new units, built to specification on the truck of your choice at the Jaylor factory, or as Truck Mount Installation kits installed on your truck of choice by selected Jaylor Dealers. All Jaylor Truck Mount mixers are driven by a powerful and robust hydrostatic drive system, engineered for years of trouble-free operation. They are also designed and built with the same capability to quickly process baled forage and produce quality, uniform mixes as are Jaylor’s trailed mixers. Jaylor Truck Mounts come standard with patented Jaylor augers and the full range of innovations (page 5), warranties (page 21), and with a full range of options (pages 19-20) to create your tailored feeding solution. Contact your nearest Jaylor Dealer or call 1.800.809.8224 and ask about creating your own specific Jaylor Truck Mount feeding solution.
TMR Innovations
Permits the operator to safely view the interior of the mixer, the rotation of the auger, and the progression of the mix to determine when it is ready to feed.
Jaylor’s engineering team uses stress simulation to ensure each component will endure years of rugged use. Afterwards, we perform extensive field testing to verify the design.
Jaylor uses state-of-the-art materials including Hot Dipped Galvanized metal and high-density polyethylene on its conveyors to inhibit rust and wear.
To ensure optimal TMR processing it’s important to have a level mixer. The mixer level is visible from the tractor cab, and makes leveling of the mixer simple.
To further enhance strength and reliability, the critical frame parts and adjustable hitch are now cast exclusively for Jaylor, to our own specifications.
An ergonomically designed ladder with incorporated platform allows the operator to view inside the mixing chamber.
